1948 Bridgeport Milling Machine BH10370

Description

1948 Bridgeport Knee mill in great shape.  Motor runs great.  3 phase.  Selling shop.  The mill was purchased new by my Great Uncle's dad in '48 and was used in his business.  Eventually, that business turned into a tool and die shop that both he and my Great Uncle operated in Detroit.  The mill was refurbished in the early 80's but when my Great Uncle retired in 1986, the machine went into long term storage.  The axes are very smooth but x is somewhat loose.  It works great for drilling but will be difficult for high accuracy milling.  Otherwise, it is in excellent shape.
This machine is operational.
