3 inch QUICK CHANGE milling vise soft jaws 1 inch aluminum w/bolts SHARS vise

Description

This is an auction for a set of soft jaws.
They are made from 1x1 aluminum bar.
They are approx 3.15 in width x 1" tall x .97 deep (clamping face has been milled).
These are a "Quick change" version, as it only takes about a quarter turn of your allen wrench to remove the jaws. Button head
bolts are required and are included with the jaws.
These work great for holding odd shaped parts if you mill your shape into the jaw so it can clamp it (both sides usable) or just to eliminate
the need for parallels by milling a step in them.
As an example of use:
I am using the standard (non-quick change) in my 3 / 3" vises with stops to make these(picture of the 3 vises shown). They just have a step milled into them so as not to need parallels.
The step is milled on the machine so alignment is straight with machine travel even if the vise is not absolutely straight.
Can you imagine trying to keep track of 6 parallels to do that job?
They fit both Shars and no name china vises.
