Elegant Atomic Age Mid Century Modern Aluminium Bakelite Chafing Dish made from Madrid Metal Manufacturing in Madrid, Spain.  This 1 chafing dish set includes 5 pieces.
Space age design...Mid Century Modern.
50’s Chafing dish made in aluminium with black bakelite handles very unique details.  Could use a polishing.
This 5 piece set consists of, chafing dish with bakelite handles; warming dish with a water line; lid with atomic filial - black bakelite circle and metal peak with spoon cut out; 4-legged stand and removable burner can holder. Handles in perfect condiotion, not chipped.
Overall measurements are 16 1/2" × 9 3/8" × 12".
Food Storage Dish measurements are 1 3/4 depth, x 13" across x 8 3/4" thus any liquid or food outside of the depht perimeters will spill out of said container.  Food items not requiring much liquid can stack a little higher in food storage dish. I would say about 2 1/2" high (thus about 3/4" of a inch higher than food tray).
Item is in used condition thus shows some scuffing on the aluminium on both interior and exterior; inside pans does show water stain marking. Bottom of chafing dish also shows signs of flame burn. Age and use appropriate wear on item.  All original condition and as noted does show some signs of imperfections and wear.  This is a very unique piece....I am sure you will get compliments on this dish.
Would fit a medium size casserole;  a dozen tamales (or so) or items of similiar size.
