    Here for sale is a brand new Eversharp Skyline Fountain Pen, has never been used or inked and has been hidden away in our vault until now. It is our pleasure to offer this rare opportunity to obtain this unique creations and add it to your collection for a great price.
    Americas largest selling fountain pen during the 1940's, Skyline series by Eversharp is recreated in polished resins and precoius metal plating. Pictured from top left are the demonstrator in translucent lime green.
    Eversharp continues its tradition of innovation and excellence with the rebirth of the Skyline pen.
    In 1940, world-renowned industrial designer Henry Dreyfuss created the Skyline fountain pen for Eversharp Pen Company. The cap was patterned after the designer's Twentieth Century Limited, Streamliner locomotive made famous by the New York Central Railroad. Eversharp sold eleven million Skylines between 1941 and 1949, making it the largest selling fountain pen in company history. Eversharp had the distinction of furnishing Skylines for members of the Army and Navy in 1943. In 1944 Eversharp sponsored the very popular Take it or Leave it radio program to promote the unique Skyline fountain pen. This model helped make Eversharp one of the four great collectible pens of all time.

    About the Pen
    Eversharp reintroduces this immensely popular vintage model and makes use once again of the sleek and elegant tear-drop design in hand-polished resin and precious metals. Silver caps are adorned with ten microns of silver. All models, trimmed in heavy gold plate, Have clips of beryllium bronze with steel inlay for strength and flexibility. Fountain pens contain 14k solid gold nibs. The precision engineering of the Skyline's cap and clip make them interchangeable with those of the original model.
