Parker Duofold Senior Sea Green Pearl Mechanical Pencil 1932

Pencil nerds, here is an excellent Parker Duofold Senior sea-green pearl mechanical pencil, second style, circa 1932.  Pencil is about 5 1/4 inches long.  See pictures, gold clip has no denting or brassing, fairly strong GEO. S. PARKER PARKER DUOFOLD MADE IN U.S.A. imprint on pencil cap, three thin gold cap bands, gold pencil cone has two small dents.  Pencil has no lead in it, I do not know if it works, you are buying the pencil as is with no guarantees.  There are a few condition issues; the black cap appears to be "glued" onto the pencil cap.  The cap overall is a bit "loose" compared to other pencils when you push it on the pencil body.  There are several small "cracks" on the body of the pencil cap, too small for me to be able to picture for you with my iPhone camera.  Otherwise, pencil is in overall excellent condition, minor scratching on body, it looks really good and displays very well!  This was the last "new" Duofold color, introduced in 1932.  That was in the depression, I would think few people would spend their money on a relatively expensive mechanical pencil at that time.   Hard to find, very nice pencil for your collection, reasonable buy it now price, go for it!!
