This machine has been rebuilt to original factory new tolerances and standards.
All screws and nuts have been replaced with new screws and nuts.
The ways have been stripped, re-scraped and re-chromed.
The table and saddle have been re-scraped flat and true to factory tolerances. OR replaced with a new table or saddle as necessary.
The original lube pump and lines have been completely replaced with a new Bijur pump and lines.
The head is a rebuilt Bridgeport 2 HP variable speed head from with a new motor and switch. All binders and handles are new.
This will include replacing the quill or j housing to return the head to original equipment specifications for quill fit. All head drive belts and bearings will be replaced. The sliding motor and spindle pulleys will be replaced. The spindle R8 collet seat will be reground on its new bearings to insure "as good as new" spindle accuracy. The upper and lower clutch hubs will be inspected for engagement and will be replaced as required.
All re-used castings have been cleaned, stripped and repainted to match the original Bridgeport Gray factory look.
Repolish the 2J belt housing.
This is as close as you can get to a brand new Bridgeport without buying one from the factory. Machine is in stock on our floor and can be inspected and seen under power by appointment.
