RESTORED! EVERSHARP SKYLINE FOUNTAIN PEN 1940s, FLEXIBLE 14K NIB, F to 1.2mm

Description

Vintage 1940's Eversharp Skyline; standard (full) size in black plastic with 14K gold filled trim / cap.
It is overall in good shape with the usual, minor wear and tear for a vintage pen. There is some brassing present on the lever and clip, and some deeper scratches where the cap interfaces with the barrel (see pictures).
The nib is 14K gold and stamped "Eversharp 14K". It is a flexible Fine that has a line width of 0.4mm, and 1.2mm with pressure.
The ink flow is nice and wet, and the nib feels smooth with minimal feedback.
The pen is a lever filler; just restored with a new latex sac, with functional breather tube and talc applied on the outside of the sac. It has been thoroughly cleaned and given a light polish.
