About Flensted Mobiles: Flensted Mobiles is a third generation family business founded in 1954. Before creating mobiles, the family were publishers, and published the works of Hans Christian Andersen. A lot of their mobiles are inspired by his tales. Today, 60 employees assemble the mobiles by hand in their homes on the Island of Funen. It takes time, patience, dedication and care to make a mobile. Each one is carefully assembled, and balanced by skillful hands.
