Here is a true rarity § a Green EVERSHARP SNAKESKIN mechanical pencil, Model 117-S,  made circa 1953. There is some historical material available online regarding these obscure pencils § I've seen 20,000 pens and pencils but never one of these. It has also been noted that the pencil was available in tan, red and green § of which green is supposedly the rarest with very few recorded examples. The pencil appears unused and in mint condition with remnants of string on the red ribbon § probably from a store tag.
