    Description

    Here's a truly excellent EVERSHARP WOOD GRAIN RED HARD RUBBER pen from about 1929.  The pen is 5-3/16" long and gold filled trim including a deco styled soldier type rollerball clip which is marked  WAHL EVERSHARP. Cap imprint below the top cap ring is MADE IN USA.  There is minor spot of trim brassing .. at the normal high spot of the lever. The pen of course is a lever filler and has a good operating sac and readily takes up ink.  The nib is marked WAHL EVERSHARP, 14K, 2, MANIFOLD. It looks like an medium, straight, with good iridium and as a manifold, no significant flexibility.   A nice add-on for this pen is the cap's factory added enameled metallic GREGG logo on the cap.  Wahl produced many of the insignias for companies like Gregg and also many fraternal emblems Great pen!
